The Advanced Search feature can help you limit results to those matching specific criteria such as document source, language, file format, access type and date. The criteria you select apply to the current search only. To use the advanced search feature, click on the Advanced Search link below the Search box. Use as many of the following options as you require, however the more restrictions you set on your search, the fewer results will be returned. The criteria that can be selected are as follows:
Search by Site
The Search by Site option allows you to limit your search results to one specific source.
Search by Language
This option allows you to limited your search to documents in one language only. The values that can be selected are:
- Any Language
- Danish
- Dutch
- English
- French
- German
- Italian
- Portuguese
- Spanish
- Swedish
Please note that the language options shown are in alphabetical order and not in order of the number of documents held in the database for each language.
File Format
The File Format dropdown box allows you to limited your search to the type of documents that you wish displayed. The values that can be selected are:
- All (Default)
- MSWORD
- EXCEL
- POWERPOINT
- HTML
Document Access
This option allows you to limit search results to either Free Access Documents (excludes pay per view or password protected documents) only. The default setting is All Documents, which includes free, password protected and pay per view.
Date Range
This drop down menu allows you to select the date range of documents that you wish to display in your search criteria. The values range from All (Default), and 1992 to 2006 inclusive.
